Prince Charles and Camilla are leading 'separate lives' after Philip's funeral, say sources: 'He feels dumped'
The troubles of the royal family seem to be unending. First, the tension between the Sussexes and the rest. Then, the death of the patriarch, Prince Philip. Now, it seems there is trouble in paradise for Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and her husband Charles, Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to the British throne. As per a report, the two are right now living separately.
A new report says that following the funeral of his father Prince Philip on April 17, Charles went to his Welsh cottage. According to insiders, the Prince of Wales apparently feels “dumped”, and that he and Camilla are right now allegedly leading “completely separate lives”.

As per insiders, Charles spent the week before his father’s funeral in London while Camilla remained in her country home. The source said that the situation managed to raise eyebrows, “but those closest just assumed he had a job to get on with and she was keeping out of the way”.
However, things got troubling when Charles arrived at the funeral alone and left without his wife, before heading off to Wales by himself. “Most would think Camilla, who stands to be the queen consort one day, would be very much beside him for that,” said the source. Charles and Camilla clocked 16 years of marriage on April 9, the day Prince Philip died.
Sources also said that Charles right now feels alone. “The Queen has lost her husband and is yearning to head to Sandringham, which was Philip’s favorite of the royal residences, and she’s happy to leave her children to grieve their father as they see fit,” said a source. “But Charles can scarcely believe Prince Harry rushed back to Los Angeles so quickly after the funeral, especially with things still left unsaid between them over their family feud. William is very sad, of course, but he’s determined to look forward, not backward.”
“Yet Charles can’t help but feel like he’s been dumped by his entire family in his hour of need. Everyone’s hoping a few days in Welsh solitude will help him sort out his thoughts,” sources said. Prince Charles was seen crying as he walked behind his father's coffin, at the funeral procession of Prince Philip at St George's Chapel. He was also spotted crying as he visited a memorial in the honor of Prince Philip.
Prince Harry was also reportedly taken aback by the "very, very cold reception" he received from the royal family during his visit to the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral. Russell Myers, the royal editor of the Daily Mirror, told talkRADIO, "Some quarters of the family did give him a frosty reception and perhaps that did shock him somewhat." He further speculated that Harry may use the birth of his second child in the summer as a "convenient excuse" not to turn up "and face the family".
