The sneak peek shows Bull (Michael Weatherly) receiving a package along with a letter as Marissa (Geneva Carr) enquires about the same. Turns out it's from someone Bull already knows- a former juvenile therapy client named Sam Richards. He shares that the kid is smart but was taken out from therapy before he could make much progress with him. Marissa lets him know about the meeting with a client who needs help with patent theft and the two joke about loving corporate cases that bring in the big bucks.

But a clearly troubled Bull then shares that he left his job undone as the kid had real problems that needed attention. Separating from his drug addict mother at age four left him with severe anxiety when Bull met him at 8 years old. This client has now reached out as he needs help getting justice for his aunt's murder as she was like a mother to him. Marissa understands and tells him to attend to Sam as he'll be distraught, but Bull reveals that she was killed 6 years ago.

We then see Sam share the details about the man he suspects of being the killer with Bull. But what makes the case tricky is that he was hidden in the room where he had a panic attack and with the case being so old Sam will have to testify himself. But this fact is what will make or break the case as the kid suffers from Agoraphobia which raised the issue of him being even able to recollect it all in court. Bull's got himself a complicated case on hand, so tune in to find out how it goes!

'Bull' airs Thursdays at 10 pm ET on CBS.
