MOSCOW, IDAHO: Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old PhD student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University, was arrested in connection to the murders of four University of Idaho students. Kohberger was apprehended in Scranton, where the Pennsylvania State Police arrested him early morning on Friday, December 30. The first question he asked was, "Anyone else arrested?" Soon the police confirmed that his DNA matched the crime scene and that they had been on his tail days before bringing him in. Now, a Reddit user has claimed to be Kohberger's former high school classmate and shared his behavioral traits.

Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, were found stabbed to death on November 13, Sunday and the police believe they have caught the killer. Now, a user has shared an interaction with the suspect on Reddit. It read, "I went to school with Bryan Kohberger. Growing up, I always got a really weird feeling about him, like something was off. He was awkward and quiet, but had a bad temper. I didn’t interact much with him in middle or high school but we went to the same community college. Being a desperate 18 year old who was out of weed, I hung out with him once because he said he knew someone who we could buy weed from. We went to the local mall, I gave him the money, and he went off to “meet” with the drug dealer. When he got back to my car, he said he’d been “robbed” and that we had to leave."

The post continued, "He was acting erratic, and I doubted he was actually robbed. But I was also scared because as I said before, I just got a very off feeling about him. I agreed to take him home and the whole time, he kept saying he was happy I was there with him and couldn’t believe we were friends now (this was the first and last time we ever hung out, and probably the third time we ever even talked our whole lives). I dropped him off in his parent’s community, (where he was just recently arrested). He asked me to come hang out inside but there was something in me telling me to get as far the f**k away from him as I could. At the time, I thought he was maybe on hard drugs or pills, but now I’m not sure what the erratic behavior was from. So, nothing insidious happened, but I thought I’d share my experience because it was one of the only interactions in my life where I truly was in fear of another person."

Internet figures out Bryan Kohberger's personality

One user said, "Someone else who knew him on tiktok (has pictures with him) and says he was on heroin at some point." Another user analyzed the given story and wrote, "His story about being robbed was so unbelievable, it's almost like he wanted you to question him to start some confrontation." One more user said, "From that description, he sounds erratic, clingy, deceitful, desperate, and violent."

One user wrote, "I get a vibe of some people aren’t capable of understanding what real human connections are, they can only observe others having connections and try to mimic that, so maybe he saw that as an opportunity to “pretend” like they were having a connection. But it was “off” to the other person. He missed the mark." Another user said, "Someone who knew him as well said he was into heroine so this story makes sense he needed that money for drugs." One more user wrote, "It’s been reported by a woman who went to HS with him that he was heavy on heroin is HS. Would explain the dead look in his eyes."
