'Same dead evil eyes': Bryan Christopher Kohberger’s arrest mugshot sparks Ted Bundy comparisons

MOSCOW, IDAHO: Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was arrested in Pennsylvania over the killing of four students from the University of Idaho, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21. However, as soon as the suspect's mugshot was released, the Internet compared Bryan to the famous serial killer Ted Bundy. 

Bryan is a PhD student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University. Meanwhile, Bundy studied for his graduation from the University of Washington, majoring in psychology. Both killers have stalked their victims and killed them. A Reddit post allegedly of Bryan, which has been taken down listed a set of questions on how crimes are committed, how victims are targeted, and how someone would leave a crime scene.

Bundy was also of similar age to Bryan when he committed the first murder. Meanwhile, one of the most chilling similarities between the duo is their similar hairstyles, brows, the same thin lips, gaunt cheekbones, and matching ears. Earlier, John Henry Browne, Bundy's one-time lawyer, claimed similarities in the duo's killings. He said, "Just the randomness of it is actually something that does stand out," he told Fox News Digital. "Of course, most of Ted's misbehavior was random. There were times when Ted would follow people and then decide not to kill them. And that was his way of exercising his grandiosity, you know, 'I can control life here and there.'"

Meanwhile, as previously reported by MEAWW, there were other similarities in the case, including Bundy having broken into the Chi Omega sorority house 45 years ago and sexually abusing two students before killing them. Bundy had also attacked two more sorority sisters before entering the street and assaulting another female student. "Think back, Ted Bundy and the Chi Omega massacre, many of those sorority girls were still asleep when cops got there, and the alarm was sounded when someone realized what had happened," reported MSN

'University of Idaho murders has a very Ted Bundy vibe'

The Internet quickly compared the killers and their features. A user said, "So basically this Bryan Kohberger was following in the direct footsteps of Ted Bundy." Another added, "The arrest of Bryan Kohberger by Moscow Police in the University of Idaho murders has a very Ted Bundy vibe. Graduate student in the Pacific Northwest." A user stated, "28-year old Bryan Kohberger is a graduate student attending Washington State University. Can you guess what he’s studying? Let’s just say he is a lot more like Ted Bundy than you think. #Idaho4 #UniversityOfIdaho #Moscow4 #IdahoStudentsSuspect."

A tweet read, "Bryan Christopher Kohberger, the #Idaho4 suspect arrested has same dead evil eyes #TedBundy had. I’ve said it all along , the Idaho student murders reminds me so much of Ted Bundy. #mugshot #BryanKohlberger #IdahoStudentsSuspect #MoscowHomicides." Another claimed, "Crazy as it sounds but if u look at the pupils, not necessarily of this kohberger photo but the full color mugshot and Bundt they look eerily the same weird shape."

A user added, "So who here thinks that Bryan Christopher Kohberger is the evil reincarnation of Ted Bundy. Not making light..absolutely serious. #BryanKohberger #BryanChristopherKohberger." "I was wondering why he looked familiar. Yikes thats creepy," read another. "Ted Bundy Bryan Christopher Kohberger Same dead eyes," claimed a user.

Another user wrote, "The actual face I made when I found out why Ted Bundy was trending, and the face I continued to make when I learned that Bryan Kohberger is being compared to Bundy, and not just because he m*rdered college students:"  A user claimed ,"Maybe it’s the retired Cop in me but does anyone else see the similarities between Bryan Kohberger and Ted Bundy?
