Utah mom heartbroken after none of the 27 children she invited to daughter's third birthday party turn up
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: When none of the 27 children she invited to her daughter's third birthday party showed up, a mother took to social media to talk about how heartbroken she was. Avery Strong's birthday party was planned by her mother Breanna, 27, of Salt Lake City, Utah, at KidsTopia Playground, a "jungle-themed indoor playground" with enormous slides, ball pits and tunnels, according to the Daily Mail.
She placed orders for pizzas, a large 'Frozen' cake and a ton of other treats, hoping that at least some of the 27 children she had invited would show up. The fact that none of them turned up left her heartbroken for her three-year-old daughter. In a video that immediately went viral on TikTok and had more than four million views in a matter of days, she opened out about the harrowing experience, prompting many people to send their love to Avery from all over the world. The post's caption read, "We invited 27 kids to Avery's third birthday party. Not a single one of her friends showed up. Money and time wasted. Breaks my momma heart so bad. Literally going to go home and snuggle my babies. I wish I was making this up."

In one of the clips, Strong was seen eating pizza all alone before her mother took the rest away and threw it in the trash. While driving home, another person noticed Breanna fighting back tears, per Daily Mail. She said that she had distributed virtual invitations on Facebook to the party in the comments area. And she said that seven families initially RSVP'd "yes", some contacted her at the last minute to say they couldn't attend, while the others decided to bail on the event. "There was a planned event on Facebook. 7 families said they were coming and three changed their rsvp this morning and others didn’t show,” Breanna replied to one of the comments.
Breanna continued that she was even more crestfallen than her daughter, who enjoyed herself at the indoor playground and was too small to comprehend what had happened. “She got everything she wanted. Pizza, Frozen cake, and jungle gym. She didn’t know any different rather than having fun. Just shattered my heart,” Breanna explained in one of the comments. Nevertheless, a lot of people instantly flooded the comments section with supportive remarks for Avery, while others expressed their disgust for the folks who didn't show up. “Let’s have a redo. I’ll travel and got a bunch of kids who loves to make friends,” suggested a person. “This makes me so sad,” another added, while someone else said, “This breaks my heart.” “This is a rule at my house. If we are invited, we’re GOING!” another person commented.
