BOLTON, GREATER MANCHESTER: TikTok star John Clark, who is known as the Meal Prep King, has been dropped by Penguin publishing group after he got himself into hot water after going live, twice, on Instagram and passing misogynistic comments like “f*****g scruffy c**ts” and addressing a person as "a f*****g mammoth."

On August 15, Twitter user @chloejayde_ posted a snippet of one of Clark's Instagram lives where he was seen saying several derogatory statements. The 43-year-old made remarks in response to the comments popping up on the live. One commenter said, "Have some respect for females," to which, he replied, "Nope, you're all f*****g scruffy c***s." '"I’m a woman. I’m a female. I have rights,'" he continued in a mocking tone and further said, "I do kind of like pissing women off." He then insisted he was “not against women”, but said he did not agree with “f*****g women thinking they have some sort of hierarchy. I think it's weird.”

One of the spectators watching the live commented, "I want to return [the book] now." While another comment read “heartbroken”. Clark, who rose to fame after he started sharing his diet and routine on social media, said, “No need to be heartbroken, I’m not really this bad in general, but I am … certain things. But you must admit, women want to self-sabotage men. F**k off.”

Penguin was quick to respond to the tweet, saying, "Penguin Michael Joseph is appalled by John Clark’s unacceptable behaviour. We do not have any more books under contract with John and will not be working with him in future."

In 2019, Penguin signed a two-book deal with Clark, 'The Meal Prep King Plan' published in 2020, and 'The Meal Prep King: Prep Yourself Slim' in 2022.  As per Today, Clark’s cookbooks have, so far, sold more than 25,000 copies, getting him a spot on the Sunday Times Bestseller List and appearances on the BBC.

Clark's mocking continued, "You're a f*****g mammoth"

In the second live, Clark said, "I love getting messages off fat people. You're a f*****g mammoth [who's] like, this tall, and then you want to blame everybody else. You're fat, overweight, stop f*****g making excuses."

Fans asked him to stop talking, however, Clark started to slam them and said, "I make f*****g thousands from people like you. I make more money in one minute than all you people.”
