Bob Saget's widow Kelly Rizzo finally sells their six-bedroom LA home for $5.4M
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The LA house of the late comedian and 'Full House' star Bob Seget has been finally sold for $5.4 million, more than a year after his sudden death at the age of 65. The late comedian shared the home with his wife Kelly Rizzo, who on the first anniversary of his death made a heartfelt tribute. She allegedly thought the home's six bedrooms and seven bathrooms were "too much" for her.
The late comedian's nephew and realtor Adam Saget handled the off-market transaction. Despite the extremely competitive LA housing market, the opulent house was initially listed in June 2022 for about $7.7 million but failed to find a buyer. A few months later, the price Bob's house was reduced to $6.9 million, but the house stayed unsold until it was again reduced to more than two million dollars below the initial listing, reported TMZ.

When did Bob Saget purchase the house?
The contemporary 6,608-square-foot house, which is privately gated, was first constructed in 1964 and renovated in 2003. It has a grand motor court, three-car garage, pool, spa, and barbecue entertainment area, as reported by People. When Bob paid $2.87 million for the estate, he started naming it his home in 2003. The sale happened a few weeks after Rizzo observed Bob's death's first anniversary.

Adam is the nephew of Bob and the listing agent for Compass Realty. "The natural light throughout the home is really wonderful and from almost every window you can see greenery," stated Adam. He added, "When driving into the property, the mature manicured landscaping offers a peaceful and tranquil setting. It doesn’t feel like you are in LA. I also really like the privacy of the home. From the street, a passerby would have no idea what’s behind the gates." He further added, "Personally, I’m going to miss our family gatherings and holiday celebrations we shared together in the home. So many great stories, lots of laughs and memories to cherish for years to come," according to Fox News.
The 'Full House' star died on January 9, 2022, at the age of 65. According to a statement from Bob's family and the Orange Country Medical Examiner's office, head injuries were found to be the cause of death. The back of his head "accidentally hit something, and he thought nothing of it and went to sleep," according to the authorities. "No drugs or alcohol were involved," the statement said. Bob was discovered dead in his Ritz-Carlton room in Orlando hours after tweeting about a show he had seen in Jacksonville.
