'People presents: Blending Christmas': 5 things to know about the Lifetime movie
This time of the year is always when Lifetime takes over movie channels and TV screens. It's never too early to make your TV watching plans and in fact, Lifetime is all the more ready to bring its slate of Christmas movies for your entertainment. The 2021 slate of "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" films features a whopping 35 holiday movies, with stars including Reba McEntire, Smokey Robinson, Marie Osmond, Jana Kramer, Chad Michael Murray, Mario Lopez and so many more.
The festivities kicked off with a preview, hosted by Tia Mowry, on November 7 and the first movie of the season, 'An Ice Wine Christmas' released on November 12. Adding to the list of movies in December is' Blended Christmas' presented by PEOPLE. What's Christmas when not spent with family and friends? In 'Blended Christmas' all is well until Emma (played by Haylie Duff) realizes that the resort she spends every Christmas with her family is currently being refurbished and is undergoing work. What is 'Blending Christmas' all about
The official synopsis reads: "The holiday season is in full swing when Emma learns that the resort where she used to spend Christmases with her family is being redeveloped". The Hacienda de la Sierra is Emma's favorite place to spend the holiday season and her boyfriend Liam (O'Connell) has been secretly planning to propose to her there, surrounded by both their families. But no holiday gathering can do without drama and soon the families are bickering over every detail! The added stress from trying to blend the two families eventually takes a toll on Emma and Liam, who start questioning their own relationship.
