'Celebrity Big Brother': Teddi Mellencamp's first to be evicted, fans call it 'karma'

Many fans took to Twitter to express their joy over Teddi's eviction from 'Celebrity Big Brother' house in Season 3

Despite trying her hardest to not be the first houseguest to be eliminated from 'Celebrity Big Brother' Season 3, Teddi Mellencamp ended up getting booted from the house. Right from the get-go, Teddi didn't hesitate from playing the game, from forming alliances to trying to strike a deal with the Head of the Household (HOH) Miesha Tate, the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star made it very clear that she was all set to play the game and do whatever it takes to get her hands on the one million dollars cash prize.

Teddi's attempts to rally for her safety in the game briefly played out when Miesha assured her that she wouldn't be put on the chopping block. Miesha was initially gunning to get fellow athlete/ Olympic ice-skater Mirai Nagasu out as she perceived Mirai as a major threat. She also nominated Carson Kressley to be put on the chopping block as a pawn to ensure Mirai's exit. Unfortunately, Miesha's game plan went haywire when Carson won the veto and decided to save himself from being eliminated. This meant that Miesha had to nominate another person for elimination.

Despite initially assuring Teddi that she wouldn't nominate her for elimination, Miesha had a change of heart after a conversation with Mirai. The Olympic bronze medalist promised loyalty to Miesha if she was saved from elimination. Mirai's promise of loyalty clubbed with Shana Moakler's assurance that she would always back Miesha in the game, led the wrestler to nominate Teddi. This didn't sit well with Teddi, who felt that she was backstabbed and "back doored" by Miesha. Teddi tried her best to convince Miesha to not nominate her, but it fell on deaf ears as Miesha was set on nominating her.

Even the Nom Now twist failed to keep Teddi safe and in the running as Todd Bridges decided to save Mirai from elimination and nominate himself against Teddi. Finally, it was time for the houseguests to cast their vote and Teddi was out after receiving 5 votes against her. The 'RHOBH' alum left the house feeling betrayed but proud of herself for playing the game with integrity. Fans however didn't share the same feeling as they felt that karma did its work by getting Teddi eliminated for trying to get Mirai out of the game.

Many fans took to Twitter to express their joy over Teddi's elimination. A fan shared, "Teddi goes home first, yesssss!!! #CelebrityBigBrother." "Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Teddi Jo #CelebrityBigBrother," added a fan. "Teddi wasn't a real celeb anyway. I am not even sure why she was there. #CelebrityBigBrother," pointed out a fan.

'Celebrity Big Brother' Season 3 airs on multiple nights each week throughout February, with the finale on Wednesday, February 23.
