Da'Vonne Rogers and Bayleigh Dayton are bringing some serious talk into the house. The latest episode (August 16) saw the two girls coming together and talking about how they have been prey to racism in the past. Bayleigh was the first one to speak up. She admitted that for a long time she was not happy with the color of her skin.

Recalling how there were only a few Black people staying in her locality, Bayleigh admitted that she had heard comments like, "you are pretty for a Black person". Admitting that people would often comment on her skin color, Bayleigh reflected on how things were different for her because of how she looked. Da'Vonne also joined the conversation and admitted that she had faced something similar. She revealed that while growing up, people would often bully her for the skin color. Da'Vonne further added that people would call her different names throughout her childhood that would make her doubt herself.

It took a long time for her to come in terms with how she looked and finally accept herself. Da'Vonne said she had to convince herself that she is pretty and not let people and their opinions take over her. At the same time, Da'Vonne said that racism is taught. Da'Vonne said that she has spoken to her daughter about what Black Lives Matter movement is. Stating that her daughter is taught everything she should know about color and racism, Da'Vonne felt like a proud mother. Meanwhile, Bayleigh did not seem to like the idea of welcoming a child looking at what has been going on in the country.

This is not the first time when the contestants spoke about Black Lives Matter. Earlier, Kaysar Ridha and Da'Vonne had a conversation where he admitted that the state of the country was heading for the worse. Kaysar revealed he wanted to live in a society where the whispers of people were heard. Da'Vonne admitted that it was time to let change take place. At the same time, she was happy to be in a platform that allows them to talk about things that matter. As the players continue to focus on the game, it seems certain that they are still aware of what's happening around the world.

'Big Brother' Season 22 airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET on CBS.
