'Below Deck': Why was Elizabeth Frankini fired? Viewers say Francesca Rubi 'relished' letting her go
Elizabeth Frankini was being monitored for a while now. Her every move, every slip-up was being noted. Not that she was blissfully unaware of it but possibly never thought it would reach a point where she would be fired. Chief stewardess Francesca Rubi has not stopped complaining about the issues she has had with Elizabeth or about how she is "incompetent" and not fit to be a part of the interior team. She also brought it up several times with Captain Lee Rosbach, who delayed it by saying that he didn't have a backup.

For weeks, Elizabeth was being given tasks that would keep her from interacting with the guests. Francesca was of the opinion that she's better off cleaning and wiping the rooms and interior area than serving people food.
In this week's episode, the Captain asked Francesca if she'd be okay with one person down in her team given that they have two charters to go. He confirmed about the stewardess he has lined up for her but is not sure if that individual will be able to make it in time due to the pandemic.
Some tough calls were made and Elizabeth was fired. Naturally, she was shocked and in tears. Should she have been let go? The third stew may have made mistakes but not that many to fire her. Fans were surprised that Francesca actually enjoyed and "relished" as she fired Elizabeth.
"I like Francesca but I think she relished too much in firing liz. Liz wasn’t good in her role but I don’t think she had an attitude which means something. Liz acted like a lovesick girl & ashling picked up the slack so she did nothing wrong and everyone gossips," a fan commented, while another shared: "Francesca was willing to sacrifice service and the experience of the guests just so she didn’t have to work with Elizabeth for another week or 2." "Omg Francesca practically having an orgasm on her way to fire Elizabeth is so cringey... The pleasure she's taking in this is gross af," a user pointed out.
