One of the major shocking moments of 'Below Deck' Season 9 was when third stew Jessica Albert suddenly decided to quit her job just hours prior to charter guests' arrival. Jessica's decision left the interior team high and dry, as they had to scramble around trying to get work done without Jessica's help.

At the time of her leaving Jessica explained to her boss/ chief stew Heather Chase that working on the yacht was taking a toll on her health so she wanted to quit to take care of herself. Jessica's abrupt departure left everybody in shock. Even though fans and the My Seanna crew knew that Jessica was 'miserable' working on the luxury yacht, they never expected her to quit midway. So when Jessica finally showed up at the reunion she explained in detail what pushed her to quit her job. Contrary to everybody's assumptions, she didn't quit because of her tension with her co-workers Heather and Fraser Olender, but because of the presence of cameras at all times!

During the reunion, Jessica explained how she didn't know what to expect when she took up the job on My Seanna. Having worked as a solo stew in her previous jobs, suddenly working with a team took some time for her to get used to. Alongside getting used to the changes in her work environment, the constant presence of cameras and the production team left her feeling overwhelmed and stressed as well. She revealed how her anxiety got worse and lose 15-lbs while she was on board the yacht.

When fans heard Jessica blame the cameras for her quitting they were left feeling amused. A fan tweeted, "Enough with the excuses Jess, you just couldn’t cut it on a big yacht. You weren’t a good stew. #BelowDeck." Another fan wrote, "Jess blaming everything on cameras….but also on a reality show. Ok, cool #BelowDeck." "I don't get Jess. Didn't she know there were going to be cameras? Didn't she know she was going on a reality show? #BelowDeck," wondered a fan.

Another fan shared, "Jess was one of the most unqualified stews this show has ever had, you know what you’re signing up for when you go on a reality show, cameras are going to be everywhere at all times duh #BelowDeck." "Jess is blaming being overwhelmed by production for her leaving #BelowDeck," commented a fan. "Is she on crack? You didn’t know what you were getting into working on a yacht in the 10th season of a reality show!? #BelowDeck #BelowDeckReunion," wondered a fan.
