‘Below Deck’: Fans sympathize with Ashton on hearing about Rhylee Gerber's return to the show

'Below Deck' fans are not keen on having Rhylee Gerber return this season as a replacement for Abbi Murphy, but can't help but look forward to the drama she will be bringing in.

If you watched the previous season of ‘Below Deck’ you would definitely remember Rhylee Gerber and all the drama she brought to the previous season. With Abbi Murphy gone, and Brian feeling under the weather with his sore knee, the deck team sure seems to be having a lot on their plate. The new bosun Ashton Pienaar definitely didn’t need any more bad news, but unfortunately for him, Captain Lee Rosbach had more.

When Captain Lee told Ashton that he hired a new deckhand to help the deck team, Ashton feels happy and asks the captain for the new employee’s CV and that's when the Captain tells him that it is Rhylee. Ashton looked so shocked and unhappy that we felt bad for him. Ashton isn’t the only one who is unhappy to learn the news of Rhylee's return. Even fans are not looking forward to the Alaskan native’s return.

A fan tweeted, “#belowdeck @capthlr oh boy...Rhylee had to be the last choice, right? Either that or Bravo production gave you the choice. Sorry...but not looking forward to her return. Hope it works (worked) out.”. Another fan wrote, “Dilemmas, really not looking forward to the drama Rhylee will bring, but really want to see this cat #belowdeck”. “Rhylee was soooo exhausting last time. She’s going to bring some good drama though. #BelowDeck”, pointed out a fan.

Few fans, however, are willing to give her a chance and hoping that she might be better this season. A fan wrote, “Ugh nobody likes @rhylee_gerber,@capthlr! But, I'll give her another chance... I guess. #BelowDeck”. Other fans, however, weren’t that kind and are comparing her to chef Kevin, who has been the most annoying cast member of this season until now. “@capthlr Just as I was thinking how annoying Kevin is this season, Rhylee comes back!  Time for all hell to break loose! #BelowDeck”, expressed a fan.

What do you think of Rhylee Gerber’s return on the show? Let us know. ‘Below Deck’ Season 7 airs every Monday at 9 pm ET/PT only on Bravo.
