‘Below Deck’: Chef Kevin Dobson calls himself 'god’s gift to cooking' and fans say they already 'hate' his annoying behavior

The new chef on 'Below Deck' Kevin Dobson has already managed to rub fans the wrong way with his annoying behavior.

'Below Deck’ chief stew- Kate Chastain keeps repeating how yacht chefs are crazy, and after seeing season 7’s chef, we couldn’t agree more with her. The chef for this season is Kevin Dobson, who toward the end of episode 3, which aired on October 21, declared himself as “God’s gift to cooking”.

While humility clearly isn’t the new chef’s strengths neither are his people-skills, his constant obsession with everything around him apart from his job is honestly annoying and painful to watch. For some bizarre reason, he has a vendetta out against Kate and constantly keeps stepping on her and complaining about how Kate and her team’s service isn’t up to his standards.

Kevin should be the last person to complain about anything since in the recently aired episode we saw the chef being told about the guests’ request for a seafood extravaganza themed dinner. Instead of stocking up on the fish, the chef was busy monitoring the performance of the stewardesses. His excuse was that he expected the guests to catch some fish during their fishing trip and he’d cook them for the feast. Unfortunately, the guests didn’t catch anything, and the chef resorted to using some canned food and serving it to the guests and passing it off as a seafood extravaganza. Luckily for him, the guests were either too high or tired to complain about it.

Fans took to their social media to throw shade at the new chef. A fan tweeted, “So let me get this straight Kevin was specifically told about the seafood party and he didn’t order seafood and yet he’s bitching at the girls cause he thinks their service isn’t up to his standards  #BelowDeck”. Another fan expressed his intense dislike towards the new cast member with, “Ugh god it’s half way through episode three and I already fucking hate Kevin. #BelowDeck #BravoTV”. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “I hate EVERYTHING about kevin from his bald spot to his shit attitude.  #BelowDeck”. Fans were furious with his pompos attitude, a fan wrote, “Did he just say he's God's gift to cooking!? GTFOH! #KevinSucks #BelowDeck”.

‘Below Deck’ Season 7 airs every Monday at 9 pm ET/PT only on Bravo.
