ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Herschel Walker made bizarre comments about mythological creatures on the campaign trail last month, following which former President Barack Obama mocked the Republican Georgia Senate candidate. “Since the last time I was here Mr Walker has been talking about issues that are of great importance to the people of Georgia. Like whether it’s better to be a vampire or a werewolf,” Obama told the thousands of Warnock supporters at an Atlanta rally for incumbent Sen Raphael Warnock. Warnock holds a narrow lead over the former University of Georgia and NFL football star.

“This is a debate that I must confess I once had myself. When I was seven. Then I grew up,” Obama continued. He then questioned Walker’s qualifications for office. “As far as I’m concerned he can be anything he wants to be, except for a United States Senator,” Obama said. “This would be funny if he weren’t running for Senate.”

Obama alleged Walker "served up bald-faced lies” to Georgia voters and made “stuff up” on the campaign trail. “When you spend more time thinking about horror movie fantasies than you do thinking about the people you want to represent, that says something about your priorities. When again and again you serve up bald-faced lies. Just make stuff up. That says something about the kind of person you are and the kind of leader you would be if you were in the United States Senate,” Obama said. He was referring to Walker's anecdote about vampires and werewolves as he apparently rehashed the plot to a horror movie he said he recently watched at a rally in McDonough.

“I don’t know if you know, but vampires are some cool people, are they not? But let me tell you something that I found out: a werewolf can kill a vampire. Did you know that? I never knew that,” Walker said in November, according to New York Post. “So, I don’t want to be a vampire any more. I want to be a werewolf,” he added. He noted that the film's character, which he said was called “Fright Night, Freak Night, or some type of night”, couldn’t kill a vampire because the character had no faith. “That’s the way it is in our life. It doesn’t work unless you have faith,” Walker said.

Early voting in the Peach State comes to an end on Friday, December 2. The runoff election will reportedly be held on December 6.

Meanwhile, the Internet erupted with hilarious reactions after Obama's video surfaced, with some praising the former president for his sense of humor. "I miss the days when he was our President, my favorite President of my lifetime," one user wrote, while another said, "No one delivers it like Obama. No one." "Lmfao. Fuc**** King. God, I miss this guy," wrote one user.

"It’s Vampire though, right? I mean that’s obvious. You get to be rich and live a long life as a young person forever. I don’t want to turn into a snarling, out of control furry beast," one user wrote. Another said, "Obama is the only president in my lifetime who could have made it as a stand-up comedian." "Werewolves only have to worry about being different during the time of a full moon (unless it’s Teen Wolf). Vampires have to change their whole lifestyle, going out when all the stores are closed, and they have to feed on people to survive. Werewolf is the obvious choice," wrote one user.
