Former iKON member B.I holds his first solo online concert after drug trial

Rapper B.I thanked fans, overcome by emotion after his first successful online concert that trended worldwide on Twitter

Almost a month after his trial and supposed freedom, former member of iKON finally met fans in his first online concert after he departed from the K-pop group amid a legal trial. On September 10, B.I's drug trial ended after he was sentenced to four years on probation. Fans were glad as he is free of any immediate jail time and can move forward to restart his idol career with many planned activities that he has in store for them.

B.I held his first online concert titled, '131 Live Presents' on October 3 through the American media company, LiveXLive. For his first ever concert with fans, B.I was seen with a new blonde hairdo. From the offset, fans noticed a new confidence in his demeanour as he greeted the fans by saying, "Long time no see." The concert saw him perform various old songs from his discography.

B.I makes grand comeback

The concert from B.I gave an impetus to his global popularity as fans started trending the concert worldwide. With fans posting constantly and keeping the conversation going, B.I trended on the Top 3 spots on Twitter Worldwide Trends on October 3. The concert began with B.I performing his hit singles such as 'Waterfall', 'Doddae', and 'BE I' as he rapped to perfection.

B.I also wowed fans who got to see him perform as a vocal too with songs like 'Beach (illa illa)', 'Daydream' and 'Then'. With his impeccable stage presence and sensuous performance skills, B.I took over the hearts of fans one more time. The large scale concert made a grand show of B.I's global influence as he rocked the stage in a successful live stream with HDR video quality.

B.I thanked fans

At the concert, B.I voiced his thoughts about seeing so many fans online. He said that he was so grateful for all the fans that joined his live stream and it was very overwhelming for him as he was unable to hear anything over the voice of the fans and their loud cheering. He also said that the concert has been long overdue and he is willing to give it his best, even though he is nervous. 

He got emotional as he talked about his struggles during the rehearsal stages saying, "I had forgotten what it felt like." He then added that now after performing for the first time, he was very happy and he could feel his burning passion for music. He went on to say that if there was even one person in the world who wished to hear him sing, he would perform with all his heart.

B.I and IDs get emotional

After the concert ended, B.I took to Instagram and personally thanked his fans as he captioned the post, "Like you all know, I don’t really say out loud that I am happy but I literally felt alive and happy today. I have realized how much stage means to me. It was so amazing and exciting. Thanks to you, IDs! (B.I's fandom) I just wanted to thank you again.'

Some of the IDs took to Twitter and relayed their emotions as they said, "It's getting in to me now that today's concert happened..i mean seeing hanbin on stage again, performing..nothing's change he's still the same and im so emotional right now..IAMSOPROUD to all of us. IAMSOPROUD of hanbin. thank you Lord for this, this is amazing, Thankyousomuch!" Another fan said, "I still feel emotional didnt expect i get to see dotdae,be i & born hater live on hanbin's concert today i love you @shxx131bi131 goodnight."

Another fan said, "I still can’t move on from this." One fan said, "Was soo emotional with the rebirth stage then they played a vcr with hanbin that looks hot for the concert photoshoot.. akhsjajsjs rollercoaster ride of emotions. B.I ROCK THE STAGE."
