Trailers:
In the first ever trailer to be released, one thing was made certain. Tony Stark failed in an attempt to revive the population that disappeared. He leaves a message for Pepper Potts and says that every end also marks a new beginning, which was a hint of a new plan by the Avengers to redeem themselves after the battle against Thanos. This could also an indication of the end of the Iron Man era as 'Avengers: End Game' could very well be Tony Stark's last appearance in the MCU films.
In order to do whatever it takes, the Avengers who are left behind try their best to come up with a solution to the snap. Tony Stark, wants to surprise the world and Pepper Potts, so he tries something, but is stranded in space while he tries to complete the mission with no food and oxygen. In the second trailer, we also see Steve Rogers and others carry a casket covered by the US Flag and it could only be Stark. We see Steve and Natasha convince everyone that they owe it to people who left them to try. Do whatever it takes to change what Thanos has done.
We Lost featurette:
A featurette that was released on March 25 has key characters from the film - Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, and Thor - addressing the fact that the fans favorite heroes lost for the first time. This has never happened before and this also affects how the characters move forward after the battle of Wakanda.
'Avengers: Infinity War' recap:
In 'Avengers: Infinity War' we saw the Avengers along with MCU's popular superheroes join hands to fight the supervillain Thanos and his adopted children - Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight, and Corvus Glaive. After having acquired the Power Stone from planet Xander, Thanos (Josh Brolin) basically wins the war when he collects all six Infinity Stones. Then, with a snap of his fingers, he manages to wipe out half the universe. The huge event sees the death of some of our beloved characters like Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), all of the Guardians of the Galaxy except Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), and more. The ones left alive, like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Captain America (Chris Evans) are now tasked with saving the world. It ends with Thanos pensively watching the sunrise, with the Infinity Gauntlet and all the Stones in his hands.
