Audrey Hale: Nashville school shooter fired 152 rounds, planned mass murder months before tragic shooting
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Audrey Hale, the Nashville school shooter fired 152 rounds during the 14-minute tragic shooting and had plotted the attack for several months before the horrifying mass murder which killed three adults and three children. The 28-year-old who opened fire at the Covenant School had detailed writings of executing his plans for the massacre on March 27.
Hale, who recently began using he/him pronouns, also studied other mass killers before he fatally shot six people, according to police. He opened fire from two assault rifles and a handgun. Hale's parents Ronald and Norma Hale said they were unaware that their trans-daughter hid the weapons inside their home, reported Daily Mail.

In a statement issued by the Metropolitan Nashville Police department, officials said, "The ongoing investigation into the March 27 murders of six persons inside The Covenant School continues to show, from all information currently available, that killer Audrey Hale acted totally alone."
Hale's collective writings were discovered from inside his vehicle parked in the school parking lot. Later, investigators found other writings in his bedroom at his Nashville residence. All these writing contained his documentation of the plans to commit the massacre at the school. "The writings remain under careful review by the MNPD and the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit based in Quantico, Virginia," as per the statement.
What was Hale's motive behind the mass murder?
The investigation into the school shooting has not established Hale's motive and the case is currently being investigated by the Homicide Unit with the consultation of the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit.
According to the police department's statement, "It is known that Hale considered the actions of other mass murderers. The investigation shows that Hale fired a total of 152 rounds (126 5.56 rifle rounds and 26 nine millimeter rounds) from the time he shot his way into the school until he was killed by police.
'Two officers fired on Hale. Officer Rex Engelbert discharged a total of four 5.56 rounds from his rifle; Officer Michael Collazo discharged a total of four rounds from his department-issued nine-millimeter pistol. Scores of police personnel from several components responded to the Covenant call last Monday.
"The department's Professional Wellness Section is conducting critical incident debriefings, including daily wellness checks, for involved personnel. The MNPD's Homicide Unit is leading the investigation into the murders of the six victims. The Cold Case Unit is working with the TBI in the investigation of the fatal police shooting of Hale," the statement added.
Police identified victims of the shooting namely William Kinney, Hallie Scruggs, and Evelyn Dieckhaus, all 9, and custodian Mike Hill, substitute teacher, Cyntia Peak, both 61, and the school headmistress Katherine Koonce, 60. Two MNPD officers fatally shot Hale during the 14-minute assault after they heard gunfire, according to Daily Mail.
