Nashville shooter Audrey Hale's CHILLING final messages to friend just minutes before massacre revealed

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Nashville school shooter, Audrey Hale, reportedly sent a slew of disturbing messages to her friend before she went on the rampage at the Covenant School. The 28-year-old trans man, who was a former student at the school, gunned down three students and three staffers before being shot dead by police on Monday, March 27.

Hale was biologically female but preferred the pronouns "he/him." However, police have used female pronouns for the shooter. Metropolitan Nashville Police Department reported in a statement that around 10.13am on Monday that they received the first 911 call about shots being fired at the private Christian school. However, minutes before the call, Hale sent a series of chilling social media messages to an ex-middle school basketball teammate. In the messages, Hale told Averianna Patton that he was “planning to die," according to WTVF.

'Something bad is about to happen'

“This is not a joke!!! You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die,” the alleged shooter said in the first text message which was time-stamped at 9.57 am. He followed up by telling Patton, “This is my last goodbye. I love you. See you again in another life.” Patton then tried to calm Hale down, saying “You have so much more life to live. I pray God keeps and covers you,” to which the shooter replied, “I know but I don’t want to live. I’m so sorry. I’m not trying to upset you or get attention,” as per The Sun.



 

“My family doesn’t know what I’m about to do,” Hale continued, adding, “One day this will make more sense. I’ve left more than enough evidence behind. But something bad is about to happen.” Patton told WTVF that she knew the messages were serious as Hale had previously spoken to others about feeling suicidal. "I tried to comfort and encourage her and subsequently reached out to the Suicide Prevention Help Line after being instructed to by my father at 10:08 am. Audrey has shared with others that she had been suicidal in the past and I knew to take this seriously," Patton said.



 

Chilling video shows Hale walking in school corridor

Following the massacre, the police department released a two-minute-long video in which Hale was seen breaking a glass door by firing a few shots and then entering the school. The suspect was also seen walking in the corridor armed with his gun, at times aiming it at potential subjects. "The active shooting suspect drove to Covenant Church/School in her Honda Fit this morning, parked, and shot her way into the building. She was armed with 2 assault-type guns and a 9-millimeter pistol," the police department captioned a video of the footage it shared on social media. Authorities have also a made detailed map of the school from Hale's house.
