DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CARIBBEAN: In the latest episode of 'Love And Translation' Season 1, star Tripp Bromley seemed to face challenges in his pursuit of love on the TLC show. Undeterred, he continued his quest and invited Leidi Beltran for a date. However, it quickly became apparent that Tripp and Leidi might not be the perfect match, as they held very different expectations for their ideal partners.
Leidi wished to find a "man who gives me wings, not cuts them." In contrast, Tripp was searching for a family-oriented partner for a serious relationship. Despite these differences, Tripp was thrilled when Leidi agreed to the date. Surmounting the language barrier, the duo managed to understand each other's feelings, with Leidi grasping exactly what Tripp meant when he extended the invitation.
Expressing her joy, Leidi shared in a confessional, "I feel very happy because it was very beautiful, the way in which he asked." She added, "It was different because he took me out to the beach. I understood that it was a special place and that I was someone special, and that tomorrow, date."
TLC dating show contestant Leidi further noted, "Because he really is the only man I like here in the house. I think something can happen there. Let's see." Unfortunately, he faced a second embarrassing rejection on the TLC show. After he was rejected by Sara Mendicino, Tripp was stood by Leidi and he reconsidered their connection.
Tripp Bromley struggles to communicate with Leidi Beltran
In a romantic setup, Tripp Bromley extended an invitation to Leidi Beltran, asking her if she would like to go on a date with him. However, their communication faced challenges as Leidi only knew Spanish. Tripp took Leidi to the moonlit beach to make his move.
Struggling with the language barrier, Tripp used hand gestures to express his love for the place he had brought her. While making movements, he said, "Love. Ocean. Sand. Love. Peace." Leidi agreed in Spanish, noting that the beach was beautiful. She also complimented Tripp on his shirt, mentioning that it matched the pink color of the sunset.
Excitedly, Tripp responded, "I comprende." He attempted to convey his feelings for Leidi, gesturing that his heart was at the beach. Leidi, in Spanish, asked, "Do you feel the same way as me? You?" She continued, "When you touch me and I touch you, it's like [explosion]... Like butterflies in the stomach."
Gisele Spilder left jealous of Tripp Bromley and Leidi Beltran's connection
'Love And Translation' Season 1 star Tripp Bromley chose Gisele Spilder for his first date, and the two enjoyed a romantic time at the waterfall, sealing the experience with a passionate kiss. Gisele found herself smitten by Tripp and confessed to having fallen in love with him. In a confessional, she shared, "I don't know what's going to happen. I came prepared for anything." Tripp had joined the TLC show with the aim of exploring connections and ending up with the person he felt the most attracted to. However, Gisele's emotions took a turn when he was spotted with Leidi Beltran.
In the previous episode, Gisele found herself heartbroken and jealous after Tripp kissed another contestant shortly after their date. Expressing her disappointment, she told the cameras, "I had the most romantic date, and then Tripp kissed another girl in front of me."
