WASHINGTON, DC: Mia Thornton's connections with the other ladies on 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' may be in flux, but her bond with Jacqueline Blake dates back decades before she joined the series. However, as the old childhood pals reconnected in Washington, DC, over the weekend, fans advised Jacqueline to be cautious.
On January 26, the duo turned to Instagram to post a stunning photo of themselves. Mia's caption reads, "Two things you will never have to chase: True Friends & True Love ♥️ Truly Blessed."
In the comments, Jacqueline too added, "Miaaaaaahhhh you really know how to pull on the heart strings! Geeesh😩😅😭 🤎."
However, concerned fans in the comment section wrote, "Jacquline needs to be careful 😢." While another user chimed in, "I think Mia needs to be careful! Cuz Mia did her real dirty that girl might be waiting to stab her in the back."
One user also wrote, "Idk. The way Mia did her last season, I just couldn’t re-friend her or re-respect her. She said some very hurtful things and you can’t take that back!!" A fourth user sighed, "if she wants to get back on tv, she must take her friendship back. Very sad."

What happened between 'RHOP's Mia Thornton and Jacqueline Blake?
Jacqueline featured as a friend of the ladies on Season 7 of 'RHOP', but her tight, sisterly friendship with Mia eroded as the season went on. By the time the girls went on a group vacation to Mexico, Mia and Jacqueline were feuding, and they weren't even communicating when Jacqueline arrived at the Season 7 reunion.
Fast forward to Season 8, and Mia's relationship with Jacqueline has not altered. On Season 8, Episode 10, which aired on January 21, Mia received an update on Jacqueline from a mutual friend, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.
In an interview on the program, Mia admitted that she had not spoken with Jacqueline since the group's vacation to Mexico on Season 7 of 'RHOP'. "So it's been about a year since Jacqueline and I have spoken, since our debacle in Mexico," Mia stated, emphasizing that she wasn't avoiding her on purpose.
"It's not intentional, I just haven't had the opportunity to, and we haven't, like, run into each other. I've had a lot going on this year, OK, like, give me a break!"

Mia talked with Charrisse, a friend of the women, during Candiace Dillard Bassett's luncheon to honor the group's moms (and their mothers).
Charrisse revealed that she recently threw an event in Potomac and invited Mia's old best pal as a guest. "I saw Jacqueline the other day. I did," Charrisse said.
Mia then inquired about Jacqueline's well-being, to which Charrisse replied, "She's OK. Yeah, she cried."
"About what?" Mia inquired.
"I was talking about you..." Charrisse went on to say that Season 8 newcomer Nneka Ihim attended the event as well.
"She didn't speak very favorably of you about Nneka, which I would have never done to someone I don't know, [who] I'm meeting for the first time."
'RHOP's Mia Thornton disappointed in Jacqueline Blake following her sexual assault
Mia, became tearful after recalling being sexually attacked on a previous episode of 'RHOP'. Mia burst into tears when attending her co-star Karen Huger's luncheon for Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment (PAVE), an organization that empowers rape victims, because the occasion was "triggering" for her.
"It’s my coping mechanism to get the f–k out when s–t’s uncomfortable, and, unfortunately, that day, I couldn’t get out," she informed her co-star Ashley Darby, who raced to the washroom to console her. "It’s just, like, ‘Why didn’t you just leave? Why did you put yourself in that situation?'"
Mia then stated that she vents her rage on her friend Jacqueline, whom she partially blames for the incident because she "left her" with her assaulter. "I know I’m a f–ked up friend to her because of it, and it’s not fair to her," the Bravo star stated through tears.
"She didn’t know that was going to happen to me. She trusted her boyfriend."
Mia later recounted that when Jacqueline went to check on her the day after the assault, she was "so scared" and said, "Mia, what happened to you?"
"Because Jacqueline did leave me that night, and because of the sequence of events that happened once she left, I think over the years I’ve wanted to forgive her...when I look back, I probably have always been a little meaner to her because of it," the 'RHOP' star admitted in a confessional interview.
"That doesn’t make it right. It’s just an emotional thing that I think a lot of people do. We don’t even realize it until we look back and see it."
