'Are Americans being poisoned?': Silk slammed for suggesting sinister plot behind sister Diamond's death

Silk made the remarks when she hosted a remembrance ceremony on Saturday, January 21, at the Crown Theatre in Fayetteville, North Carolina to honor her sister

FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: Diamond from the pro-Donald Trump commentary duo 'Diamond and Silk' died unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2023. She was admitted to the hospital back in November 2022 due to Covid. Her sister Silk hosted a remembrance ceremony on Saturday afternoon, January 21, at the Crown Theatre in Fayetteville, North Carolina. However, her speech took a dark turn when she returned to her anti-vaxxer ways. 

Silk addressed the pro-Trump crowd and said, "Instead of asking if Americans are vaxxed or unvaxxed, the real question to ask is: Are Americans being poisoned?" She continued, "In the wild, when they want to depopulate and sterilize a large group of animals, they usually inject one animal, and that one animal infects the rest of the animals." Silk alleged that the Covid vaccines create harm without evidence, "People are dropping dead around here, and nobody is talking about it! They are dropping dead suddenly and unexpectedly."

'Diamond and Silk' were a pair of conservative political commentators and bloggers known for their support of former president Donald Trump. The two have served as contributors for conservative news channel Newsmax. Silk recalled her sister's final moments, "She said to me, ‘I can’t breathe.’ It was something out of nowhere, and no warning… Each breath was less, and less, and less. What I want to say to everybody is don’t you dare call me a conspiracy theorist. Because I saw it happen. I saw how it happened. I was there when it happened, and it happened suddenly,” she said, urging the crowd to “get some answers as to why people are falling dead suddenly."

One user slammed Silk and wrote, "Being sick since November doesn’t sound sudden or unexpected" Another user sarcastically took a dig at Silk and said, "“In the wild, when they want to depopulate and sterilize a large group of animals, they usually inject one animal, and that one animal infects the rest” Silk said, If only we knew what was killing people by spreading from one person to another and had some ways to control it!" One more user wrote, "Amazing how they keep tripling down on everything negative and crazy even when they find out."

One user wrote, "She came down with Covid... didn't get the vaccination... while it may have been sudden (if you call 2 months sudden rofl), it sure as hell wasn't unexpected..." Another user slammed her for her anti-vaccination comments, "I understand she’s hurting— but FFS the lies and fear mongering must stop." One more user tweeted, "Very obese, no exercise, bad diet, smoker - what on earth could have caused her to just suddenly die when she had just contracted a disease with adverse cardio-pulmonary effects? It’s a mystery. It must be poison."
