Are Allie and Steven Jr. still together? ‘The McBee Dynasty’ episode details emotional airport ride
The recently released ‘The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys’ episode saw a series of incidents, including Allie Eklund and Steven McBee Jr. opening up about their relationship. Viewers witnessed Episode 3, titled ‘Banks, Babies, and Bad Blood’, where Steven reflected on his relationship with Allie. The episode saw Allie, 29, leaving Missouri as she decided to live with her sister in Texas. While Steven drove Allie to the airport, she got emotional. In a confessional, she told the cameras, “I told my family I’m coming back home. I told my sister I was going to live with her. I had all these prior commitments. Then obviously I meet my dream guy, and I don’t want him to be upset.” Steven referred to their romantic relationship as a “whirlwind” and said it was “bittersweet” to see her leave after both had grown quite close.
Allie told the cameras, “The whole situation is really tough for me.” She further added, “I love Steven and I care about him deeply. We’ve just had a whirlwind of a few months and I need a second really to digest it all.” Sharing more about her relationship with Steven and how the two might be moving quite faster, she revealed, “I feel like we are moving quickly, almost in survival mode and it’s worrying me a bit. I’m hoping this move back to Texas and this space will allow us to slow down a little bit. If it’s meant to be, this move shouldn’t affect our relationship.” However, Steven did not seem too happy about their long-distance relationship. He noted, “For me, in my mind, long distance is the kiss of death for relationships.” He added that he did not know how he and Allie “ended up on separate pages.”
Notably, later in the episode, Steven had a chat with his brothers and shared that he wanted to move to Texas to give Allie his attention. While the show was filmed prior, a series of incidents have happened involving the two. According to Decider, there were rumors that Allie had been unfaithful to Steven. “I didn’t have any other option at that point. I had to respond and prove that his accusations were false,” she addressed the alleged accusations. She added that Steven was not “used to women sticking up for themselves.”
Page Six reported that Steven referred to Allie as “f*****g s**t” and “b***h” in text messages. Notably, Steven had publicly apologized and sent a handwritten letter to Allie’s family. “He actually wrote each family member of mine a two-page handwritten letter apologizing.” Despite their fallout, she noted that she appreciated their relationship at the time. She told Decider about the show, “You’re gonna see my eyes open to some of the things that I believe were being hidden from me.” According to Bravo, Steven regretted how he handled the situation at the time.
