Antoine Sims: Georgia murder suspect, 24, arrested after calling 911 over cold McDonald’s fries
KENNESAW, GEORGIA: Antoine Sims of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was arrested on Friday, August 12, by Kennesaw Police after an argument with a McDonald's manager over cold fries. The 24-year-old murder suspect called the emergency number 911 to complain about cold fries served by the restaurant.
Sims said that he and his fiance did not receive any receipt of the fries and were not aware when their order was called and by the time they did, it was 'lukewarm'. The manager of the McDonald's outlet claimed the food was 'burning his hand' and offered a refund. However, Sims declined to take the refund and demanded fresh fries, eventually leading the manager and him to call Kennesaw Police.

Bodycam footage by the Kennesaw police reveals that Sims approached the police and when asked why he called 911 over cold fries, he responded, "So, basically, we went in there, and I guess something is wrong with their internet server, because we tried to order on the little box thing, and he said that wasn't working.". He further added, "We ordered the food, but he couldn't print out the receipt. So he said the receipt would be printed in the back, so we sat down - me and my fiancée are looking for homes around here - so I guess our order was called, but we don't even know our order number. So now our food is sitting there cold."
He admitted when he tried the fries, it was "lukewarm, but they're not hot" and that's why he asked the manager for some fresh ones. Sims claimed that the manager reached into the bag and 'touched the fries,' which triggered the customer to ask for another set of fresh fries. "He's already done, touched them, can I just get a fresh set?" Sims asked. The murder suspect further added that the shop manager said he could "run his store however he wants" and offered the couple a refund. Sims rejected the same since it takes three to seven days to refund to the bank account.
The murder suspect however became nervous when he was asked for his ID proof. He told the police that he did not have one. When the police reached out to the manager, he said Sims cussed him out and claimed "all his food's cold". The manager said it was "burning my hands" when he touched it. He also said that Sims said, "You better give me my f**king fries, my fresh fries, mother f**ker." Sims then shoved his food and threw his drink at the manager before being asked to leave the store and offered a refund. The manager added Sims allegedly said, "No, you're not going to give me a f**king refund, you're going to give me my f**king food and my money back."
Later the police informed Sims that the manager has the right to refuse service, hence he cannot return to the outlet. While the police were drafting the paperwork, Sims was seen nervous and asking his fiance to come along with the car. The police then run Sim's name on the national database to check his criminal charges.
When the cops asked Sims to use the back side of the girlfriend's car as a table to fill out the paperwork, he yelled saying, "I am afraid of y'all. I did three years, man, I'm afraid of y'all." He is accused of setting a car on fire with a dead woman inside of it in October 2018 when a drug deal went wrong. The police stated he was trying to break into a third-floor apartment leading to his arrest. He was taken to the hospital before being taken to jail for further procedures. He was arrested in 2019 for the 2018 murder of Adelisa Muratovic who was shot dead.
