Ana Walshe told cops Brian Walshe threatened to kill her in 2014, Internet asks 'why did she marry him?'
COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: A new report revealed that before Ana Walshe got married to Brian Walshe in 2015, the missing mother and real estate executive was threatened to be killed during a phone call. According to a public incident report filed in Washington, DC, on August 2, 2014, Ana Knipp, her maiden name, told DC Metro police that Brian, who is not named in the report but sources indicate the suspect here is him, allegedly “made a statement over the telephone that he was going to kill her and her friends.”
The police report lists the potential offense as felony threats. However, Ana "refused to cooperate in the prosecution." And hence, the case was dropped, reports Boston 25 News. And now internet sleuths are wondering why Ana, the 39-year-old who was last seen at her home at 4 am on New Year’s Day, married Brian. One Reddit user commented by saying, "Cannot even comprehend what was in her head to go and marry him and have 3 kids after this?" Another wrote, "And yet she married him after he threatened her? Incredible."

One of many said she married him for money. Brian is the son of the former Chief of Neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital Thomas Walshe who died in 2018, reports CBS. An individual commented, "This is absolutely Insane! Maybe she found out how much money the family had."
While many continued to question her decision of marrying him, some blamed she did it for money. One user wrote, "There are red flags and then there are RED FLAGS! Ana didn't stand a chance with this psycho. It's going to be so heart wrenching to hear she was getting ready to leave him."
Another wrote on Twitter, "It was abuse. This story just broke… he threatened to kill her 9 years ago." On the other hand, one of many angrily questioned, "So wtf is taking the DA so long to file murder charges . DNA doesn’t take this long especially when it’s such a high profile murder case!"
