SPAIN, BARCELONA: Levi Davis, who has been missing since October 29, reportedly made an odd payment from his phone hours before he vanished. Prior to going missing, the 24-year-old rugby player was reportedly last seen leaving the Old Irish Pub in Barcelona. Since then, his family has engaged a private investigator to help them search for the 'X Factor' star.

Davis made the $30 payment on the day of his disappearance through the instant mobile payment service Bizum, reported ABC. This new information was revealed after a private investigator was hired by Davis' family, who claimed to have found "significant leads," but the receiver of Davis' cash is still unclear. The search for the former Bath rugby player is being assisted by Gavin Burrows and his London-based organization Line of Inquiry. The organization has announced as part of the investigation, it will offer a $12,282 prize for information that results in Davis being found.

Burrows stated, "I've only recently just come to this, but we have got some significant leads, which we're following up right now and locally. There are a number of clues here. And one main appeal today is that when he left Ibiza in October, he must have spoken to somebody on the ferry during that time," as per The Sun.

"It was a six, seven-hour, eight-hour journey," Burrows continued. "He must have spoken to somebody when he came to Barcelona or arranged to meet somebody in Barcelona. But that person's never come forward." He claimed that Davis had not used his credit or debit cards since leaving the Irish Pub at 10.05 pm, as per reports.

Burrows said, "For the family's sake we need help. We're just appealing to the media and to anybody who may have seen Levi in the last six weeks, or a possible sighting can they please contact us or the local police. We've got to hopefully bring a successful conclusion to it over the next few days, if not weeks, because of the pain the family is going through."

Davis' mother, Julie, claimed that his passport had allegedly been discovered at a port in Barcelona, close to a cargo shipment. Cops acknowledged that Davis' passport had been discovered in Barcelona's port region in November but provided no additional details at the time.

Julie stated in a Facebook post, "Thank you all for your support and prayers. There's still no news apart from the fact his passport was found near some cargo shipment," reported The Sun.  Concerned for Davis, his family made the long trip to Spain to assist in the search a few weeks ago. However, despite numerous potential sightings of Davis, none have been positively identified as being him.

Additionally, Julie has been informed that her son has not used his phone or bank accounts since the last reported encounter. Davis had reportedly traveled alone to Barcelona and arrived there at 7 pm after spending a week in Ibiza. The former Bath winger, who was allegedly depressed, had left for vacation after suffering a knee injury.

The former Bath rugby player turned reality celebrity participated in 'X Factor: Celebrity' in 2019 as a member of the rugby trio Try Sensation, which also included Thom Evans and Ben Foden. In 2020, he made an appearance on 'Celebs Go Virtual Dating' on Episode 4.
