Jennifer Lopez bundles up in favorite brown fur coat on a solo shopping trip ahead of Christmas
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez kept herself warm as she left her home in Los Angeles on the afternoon on December 14. The 53-year-old singer was spotted exploring the racks at American Rag Cie while being escorted by two security personnel.
Lopez wore a warm black turtleneck sweater under a gorgeous brown fur coat paired with oversized dark denim jeans. Lopez walked the sidewalk in a pair of nubuck hiking boots with the laces left untied. Her honey-toned hair fell in waves down her shoulders. She accentuated her glowing complexion with bronzing powder and peach blush.

Lopez hid her eyes behind a pair of gold-framed aviator sunglasses and only seemed to be wearing mascara. Gold rings adorned her fingers, and she carried her phone and other items in her coat pockets rather than in a purse. The mother of two was seen perusing a selection of pillows, coffee table books, and napkins at the store that describes itself as an "LA institution," as reported by Daily Mail.
Lopez's opulent fur coat has become a favorite in her huge collection of luxury clothing. Earlier this year she was photographed wearing the same coat while visiting New York City. Lopez braved Los Angeles alone on December 14, but earlier this week she spent time with her family while shopping in Brentwood, California. Husband Affleck, 50, and her son Max, 14, were present with her on the shopping trip.
Lopez shares twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez and Affleck are celebrating their first Christmas together since their July wedding at a chapel in Las Vegas. They were also spotted earlier this week as they stepped out for a date at a Starbucks in Santa Monica, California. The couple couldn't keep their hands off one another and hugged each other as they walked with the coffee cups in their hands, in the pictures.
Lopez is getting ready to release 'This Is Me... Now', her ninth studio album which draws inspiration from her rekindled relationship with Affleck. The album will consist of 13 songs, including a few songs titled ‘Dear Ben Pt II’, ‘Midnight Trip to Vegas’, and ‘Greatest Love Story Never Told’, that primarily focus on her relationship with the actor and her husband. 'This is Me...Then', the singer's third album which comprised of songs that were also inspired by Ben Affleck, came out two decades ago.
In the teaser trailer posted to her Instagram she said, "Twenty years ago, I fell in love with the love of my life and I was working on album and it was called This Is Me... Then. It was all about capturing that moment in time." She continued, "When I'm in love is when I'm inspired and I was the most inspired then and I have not made another record like that since then. I was in so much pain for so many years and my way of surviving was by working more and hiding that side of myself. But now 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. I was like it's time for me to make another record and the reason we're here is because I want to capture this moment in time because it is even better than the first time."
