Who is Dustin Tavella?

Dustin Tavella is the winner of Season 16 of 'America's Got Talent'. He was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and his interest in magic began when he visited magic shows in Atlantic City along with his grandparents who gambled. He currently lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his wife Kari Gibson and their adopted two sons, Xander and Sylas. Tavella is known for his philanthropy, and a lot of his acts are centered around his kids. "I believe there are two kinds of magic. The first is the kind you see performed on stages. The second is the most real and most powerful magic that exists – it is the magic that happens when one individual makes the decision to positively impact another human life forever," he explained in his audition tape with PR News Wire.

He is the third magician to win and be crowned the winner of 'America's Got Talent.' For Tavella, winning the show was a dream come true. "I'm a 9-year-old boy dreaming of chasing the things that I love. Falling in love with magic and here I am years later standing on this stage and hearing my name called as the winner of the show, it's crazy. It's more than I could have ever asked for or dreamed of," he said, in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight.

After winning the $1 million grand prize, Tavell joined the 'America's Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE' stage show at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. He began performing as a part of the act back in November 2021 and you can still catch him in action at the Luxor Hotel. Tavella even posted about the show on his Instagram, saying --"If you guys haven't come seen the @agtvegaslive show yet… what the heck are you waiting for?! Come hang with us!! It's been such a blast. I still feel like I'm dreaming!!"
