‘American Idol 20’: Who is Morgan Gruber? Theatre lover auditioned for previous season
As the loyal fans wait for the fifth episode of ‘American Idol’ season 20 with new contestants, we can tell you a singer named Morgan Gruber will appear in front of the judges namely Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. The teen singer auditioned for the singing reality show and spilled the beans about the same on her official Instagram account.
Talking about the latest season, ‘American Idol’ season 20 is so far down with four episodes and it will soon kick off their Hollywood week once they finalize the singers from the fifth episode. Contestants namely Jay, Saylor, and Tobias among others will be fighting for the golden ticket in the latest. Haley Slaton, Douglas Mills Jr, Sam Moss, and Thomas Patrick Moran among others were some of the singers who managed to sail through in the previous episode.

Who is Morgan Gruber?
Morgan Gruber is reportedly 17 years old who attends Riverside High in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. The young talent will be seen trying her luck for the coveted golden ticket that would help her in advancing to the Hollywood week. Gruber is a die-hard fan of pop and country music and adores Chris Stapleton to be specific. The teen crooner, who is also a fashion enthusiast, had shared about her audition a few weeks ago on Instagram saying, “I’ve got exciting news…I Auditioned for SEASON 20 OF AMERICAN IDOL! Tune in on Feb 27th on ABC to see what @katyperry @lukebryan @lionelrichie have to say!”
Morgan Gruber, interestingly, had also auditioned for the show in one of the prior seasons. She made it till five virtual auditions with executive producers but failed to make it to the live auditions. Shedding light on the same, she told Times Online, “I definitely learned a lot. To be more prepared and definitely think more about my song choice”, adding, “I took a lot out of that. I also learned about the talking aspect and about answering questions.” Though she has not performed at many gigs but she has experience in singing National Anthem at public events in her hometown. Apart from singing, Gruber is also a member of a theater group called the New Castle Playhouse Mini-Stars.
‘American Idol' Season 20 airs every Sunday at 8/7c on ABC.
