The talent that has emerged onto the television screens and rocked America this current season is nothing like ever before but the judges have to make a tough call even if it means inviting the ire of the millions who watch the show.
Just last week, there was a huge hue and cry among fans of the show after street busker Philip Murphy was eliminated from the show despite his flawless performance. His novelty had always been an issue from the very first time he set foot on the Season 19 stage but thanks to an upcoming major twist on the show, Murphy might be making a comeback. 'American Idol' Season 19 Wild Card
Reliable sources have confirmed that 'American Idol' – the Top 24 lineup of singers aren't the only ones who will be advancing in the competition. Along with them, two wildcard contestants from Season 19 who will be handpicked by the judges, will move ahead in the show and compete for the winning title. The format of how and when this will happen is yet to be known but it mostly should be announced at the end of the Top 24 performances at the end of the April 4-5 week.

Philip Murphy's elimination came as a shocker to many 'Idol' fans but it makes complete sense now because of the new wild card twist that has been introduced. His talent is out of the world and couple it up with his popularity with the audiences, it won't come as a shocker if he reenters the competition to compete for the title and a recording contract.
Anthony Guzman
Anthony Guzman's introduction was an impactful one. He came to the auditions dressed up as Thor, hammer and all and it did seem gimmicky at first. But once he started to sing, all of it started to make sense. His gravelly voice feels is extremely soothing and he's proved that his artistry is incomparable and undoubtedly Guzman would be a perfect fit in the top lineup this season.
Eliminated contestants including Alex Miller, Amanda Mena, Brianna Collichio, Christian McGuckian can also be very good additions to the 'American Idol' Season 19 stage.
Last week, Cecil Ray Baker's performances bombed and failed to impress the fans. A huge section of viewers were of the opinion that there were better country singers than him that the judges sent home in the earlier stages. Drake McCain was one of the names that everyone wanted in the show instead of Cecil after his lackluster showing and there's a good chance that he could be coming back for the wild card as well.
