Luke Bryan calls onstage fall the 'best moment of the night'
Luke Bryan's onstage fall didn't stop him from performing on 'American Idol'. The ABC show judge opened the 'Rock & Roll Hall of Fame' night with a strong rendition of the 1985 song Small Town by John Mellencamp. After his performance, host Ryan Seacrest checked on Luke and asked, "Are you damaged in any way?"
Luke pretended that he didn't have any idea what Ryan was asking about and noted, "What are you talking about, Ryan?" However, after Ryan played a clip of Luke falling on stage, the ABC show judge said, "I'm all right, baby." Luke responded the fall wasn't choreographed adding, "Good old-fashioned foolishness."
He further noted that it was a good lesson for the contestants that they didn't need to be perfect. Luke said, "It was actually the best moment of the night."
