'American Crime Story: Impeachment': Release date and all about FX show on Bill Clinton's impeachment
Impeachment is one word that can make anyone scared and it became a hot topic for discussion during the reign of Donald Trump. For the uninitiated, according to Article 2 of the US Constitution, “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
The 45th President of the United States was impeached by the House of Representatives twice during his governance (2019 and 2021). Interestingly, he is not the only president in US history to get impeached. Presidents like Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton have been impeached in the past. But, not a lot of people know about them. So, FX has taken the responsibility to give people some history lessons with ‘American Crime Story: Impeachment’. This is the third part in the anthology series after 'The People vs. OJ Simpson' and 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace'.
The show will focus on the impeachment of Bill Clinton and will give the viewers a glimpse of what happened behind closed doors and how the former President was sued for sexual harassment by one of the civil servants named Paula Jones.
Here’s everything we know about the project.
