Devastated Amber Heard says PANIC ATTACKS make her 'relive the trauma' of marriage to Johnny Depp
Amber Heard testified as the final witness on Thursday, May 26, in the six-week libel trial, which is slated to conclude on Friday, May 27. The 'Aquaman' star stated that her friends, boyfriends, and co-workers must follow "an unspoken set of rules" in order to avoid triggering a panic attack "where she relives the trauma."
As Johnny Depp's case against Heard nears its conclusion, Heard stated, "I have to live with the trauma and the damage done to me. My friends have to live with a set of unspoken rules about how to not scare me, unspoken rules about how to not touch me, not to surprise me."
Heard further stated in her second round of direct testimony, "My intimate partners have rules about how they can deal with me, how they can touch me, I have rules for doctors, medical professionals, gynecologists I see. I live my life with these sets of rules that I have to follow, my friends have to follow for me not to have a panic attack or a triggering event where I relive the trauma."
The actress admitted that during battle scenes for 'Aquaman', she occasionally had "meltdowns" which the staff had to cope with. Since the hearings began, Heard said she has received "thousands" of death threats, and the process has been "agonizing, painful, and humiliating."

She described the trial's impact on her as follows: “I am harassed, humiliated, threatened every single day. Even just coming into this courtroom sitting here in front of the world having the worst parts of my life, things that I have lived through, used to humiliate me. People want to kill me, they tell me so… they want to put my baby in the microwave and they tell me that."
She further continued: “The harassment and the humiliation, the campaign against me that’s echoed every single day on social media, and now in front of cameras in the showroom - every single day I have to relive the trauma. Perhaps it's easy to forget I'm a human being.”
During her testimony, Heard argued with Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, on many occasions, and who objected to sections of her responses. Judge Penney Azcarate also told spectators in the public gallery not to make remarks during Heard's testimony, adding that if the disruptions continued, the court would be vacated.
Heard went on to say that she wanted to regain her "voice" and that she had a right "as an American" to tell her tale and express the "truth," and that all she wanted from Johnny was to be left alone.
Earlier in the day, an orthopedic physician who specializes in hand surgery testified in support of Depp's account of events, claiming that he lost the top of one finger when Heard hurled a vodka bottle at him. Dr Richard Gilbert was asked for his opinion on Heard's account of the injury, which said that it occurred when Depp smashed a phone against a wall. Dr Gilbert assessed it as "highly unlikely."
Depp is suing Heard over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that his attorneys claim erroneously indicates he physically and sexually assaulted her when they were together, despite the fact that the post never mentioned his name. Depp has rejected all allegations, claiming that she was the one who abused him.
