Amber Heard accused of PRETENDING to take notes during closing arguments
The sensational courtroom battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continues to dominate headlines as it reaches its final leg, and eagled-eyed fans are picking up on minute details of the case, the court proceedings, as well as the behavior of everyone involved in the trial. Sleuths couldn't help but notice that the 'Aquaman' actress has been taking notes quite a bit during her time in court, leaving many to wonder what exactly she's writing. Now, a viral clip appears to show the embroiled star merely pretending to jot things down while writing "nothing" at all.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, for more than $50 million after she penned an op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018, claiming to be a victim of domestic abuse. The article does not name Depp and Heard's lawyers have said it is protected by freedom of speech. However, Depp's legal team has argued that the article's implications were obvious and that this damaged their client's acting career. Heard has countersued for $100 million, saying she isn't a liar and that her ex-husband assaulted her several times during their relationship.

There are several details about the ongoing trial unbeknownst to viewers despite how widely publicized the proceedings have been. One of the key questions is what Heard has been writing throughout the trial. While cameras have provided a close-up of the actress's writing, Rolling Stone reported that she has simply been actively taking notes on everything that has been going down.
While the contents of Heard's notes remain a mystery, it's not uncommon for those involved in a trial to take notes to retain the information being shared, as well as note ideas of one's own. However, a video that made the rounds of social media on Saturday, May 28, appeared to capture the 'Never Back Down' actress pretending to write something in court while the page remained blank. The clip was shared by a Twitter user with the caption, "Amber writing down all the things Johnny did to her. Translation = nothing."

Depp stans couldn't help but poke fun at their arch-nemesis Heard.
"Wait. She just fakes writing something? Lmao," one reacted.
"I was wondering to myself, what could she be writing, her lawyers already prepared the closing argument, they're not gonna break their flow. Maybe it was at this point Elaine realized that there was something wrong with Amber, hence why she broke down and cried later," another offered.
"'I don't know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you're fine, I did not write about you, I did not write about you, I was writing about you,'" someone else quipped.
"Definition of 'stage business': incidental activity performed by an actor for dramatic effect," a comment read.
"Damn she pledged some ink to the paper," another joked.
