Amazon accused of promoting pedophilia after its 'Daddy’s Little S**t' children's t-shirts spark intense customer backlash online

The e-commerce retail giant Amazon has received some intense backlash for selling children’s t-shirts and onesies with "Daddy’s Little Sl*t" printed on the front. The products, sold by the third-party retailer Onlybabycare has since been removed from the site.

It had been available for sale from June 2019 and was on sale for $18, but since numerous complaints were raised, it has been taken down, and any links shared will lead you to an error page. However, there are still more third-party retailers such as EASON-G and LINGMEI that are selling similar T-shirts, onesies, and baby beanies.

The attention to these disturbing products was first brought on by the tweets of Journalist Yashar Ali who shared a screenshot on Twitter on Thursday, in which the product description claimed that the top was suitable for various occasions, including "baby showers, birthday parties, baptisms, weddings, and baby photography."

These t-shirts have obviously enraged many consumers who have taken to social media to express their displeasure. Here are some of the tweets that Twiteratti posted after these products were discovered by them: "WTF @amazon ?!? This is practically endorsing incest and pedophilia! Ban this product and anything remotely resembling it! This is disgusting! [sic]"

"Come on @amazon Please remove this. How does this even get past anyone? We get closer and closer to normalizing and accepting pedophilia every single day and it's absolutely disgusting on so many levels. Miss me with the "Minor Attracted person" bullshit too. [sic]"

"Do you see how they keep pushing this agenda? They're trying to desensitize the public to make pedophilia more acceptable. People need to get pissed off & stay pissed off about this. [sic]"

"Humanity was a mistake, Example #3,415,621.[sic]"

Notably, actress Isidora Goreshter tweeted, "What in the fresh hell is this? Take me off this planet. Willing to carpool." Meanwhile, CBS News correspondent Diane King Hall demanded that the shirt be removed.  "You've got to be kidding me! @amazon take this shirt down now!" she wrote.
