'We’re expecting our first child together in about six weeks'
"Very, very shocking. We have three dogs at home and a cat, and I’m just in this house alone now without him," said Lindi soon after learning about the death of her husband, John Holland, and his passenger in a crash as per 25 WPBF.
Holland says her husband worked for Aamro Aviation. "We’re expecting our first child together in about six weeks, and there’s a huge hole in my heart and my life," she told the outlet. When the crash occurred, Holland and his student pilot were en route to Kentucky to pick up a new plane and Lindi was waiting for Holland to get home, which he never did.
"His whole family, his dad, mom, stepmom, and sister are all devastated," Lindi said. She added, "John was the best man. He would do anything for his family. He served our country for a number of years. He was an amazing pilot. An amazing husband, son, brother-in-law, and son-in-law. She said, "Everyone said that John was a friend." Holland also served in the Army.
