HOLCOMBE, ENGLAND: A 32-year-old woman and her boyfriend were found dead in the same house on the same day due to natural causes. Aleasha Sullivan was discovered behind the front door of her home in Holcombe, Devon. Her boyfriend, Josh Sandercock, 30, was found dead on the sofa by officers who had broken in.

Sullivan reportedly died from blood clots in her lungs, an inquest heard on Thursday, April 20. The toxicology tests revealed that although she had taken drugs, they were not the cause of her death. The investigation showed the couple had been "dead for a little while" before law enforcement found them.

"Both Aleasha and Joshua were found dead at the same premises at the same time on the same day," assistant coroner Mike Bird said, according to The Sun, adding, "Both of them died from natural causes." Sullivan had not been seen for nine days, sparking concern, before the police had been called to the house in October 2021.

The couple were in a 'volatile' relationship

The court heard the pair had been together for nine months but it was a "volatile" relationship. Sandercock had been arrested for assaulting Sullivan and had been served with a domestic violence protection order banning him from contact with her or going to her home. Their bodies were reportedly found a day before the order was due to expire. A pathologist confirmed there were no signs of trauma or assault.

"It was a set of very unusual circumstances," police investigator Paul Cashman said. Sullivan was described as a "funny, caring, selfless soul" by her devastated loved ones. "She touched the lives of everyone she knew, and made an impact that will never be forgotten," a person wrote on a GoFundMe page. "She fought many battles but never lost hope, and was always strong enough to wake up and put her face on to face the new day with that Aleasha courage that we all know and love," wrote another.

Mother strangled her two boys

MEAWW previously reported that an investigation revealed two little boys were found dead in their home after being strangled, and their mother was also found dead. On March 9, after police forcibly entered their home in Belvedere, south-east London, they found the bodies of Nadja de Jager, 47, and her sons Alexander, nine, and Maximus, seven. However, it is believed that the woman first strangled or suffocated her children to death and then killed herself.
