RIVERVIEW, FLORIDA: The body of Sarah Dreyer, a Florida mom who went missing on April 10, has been found. Dreyer disappeared after dropping her children off at a private school and returning home. She left her home later that day and went to the back entrance of Bell Creek Nature Preserve in Riverview, Florida.

Dreyer, 38, was captured on Ring camera at 2.01 pm. She was seen walking alone, only carrying her phone. That was the last time she was seen and despite several huge search operations being held, she could not be found. Volunteer search team 'Sunshine State Sonar' confirmed on social media has Dreyer has now been found dead.

'This is a heartbreaking situation'

"Teamed up with our partners at We Are The Essentials, we are sad to announce we have found Sarah Dreyer tonight. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sarah’s entire family," the group wrote on Facebook. "Today we teamed up with the search team (We Are The Essentials). We arrived at Sarah’s home at approximately 3.30 pm. After a quick chat with Sarah’s friends and family, we sonar searched the lake behind her home. When that search turned up nothing, we decided to search a heavily wooded nature preserve at the end of her street. Two hours into that ground search and approximately 2 miles deep in the woods, we were able to locate Sarah. Unfortunately, she was deceased. Please pray for Sarah’s children. Lots of tears tonight. This is a heartbreaking situation." The team thanked Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and their "dedicated detectives" in their post.

In another post, a non-profit organization that helped in the search efforts, 'We Are The Essentials' wrote, "Sarah Dreyer has been found. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers and respect their privacy. Special thanks To Sunshine State Sonar for your collaborative efforts and amazing work. We formed We Are The Essentials because we are passionate about helping families that need assistance in locating their loved ones. We appreciate all the kind words and support from the community."

Did Sarah Dreyer leave a note?

In an April 16 post, a social media user wrote on Twitter that a note was found after Dreyer went missing. "Last seen on ring camera footage at 2.01 pm carrying her phone while walking alone. Her husband returned home to an empty house at 4 pm with dogs on the patio. There was a note from her on the fridge and the police were called right away. An extensive search began. I am not sure what exactly this note said, but it must have been alarming," the user wrote. Another user commented on the post, saying, "Husband was at work and not suspect but also not making any appearance on social media or anything asking for help. Searchers are all over the place voluntarily and they are tired and feeling like they might be wasting their time since no help or information from family or deputy". MEAWW could not independently verify this information.
