The man, sporting the very rare and expensive pair of Air Jordan Dior 1s, was soon identified when Meena Harris, the niece to Vice President Kamala Harris confirmed that it was her husband, Nikolas Ajagu. When one user tweeted, "@meenaharris is Nik wearing the Dior 1s?," Meena Harris replied, "Yes smh."
The Air Jordan Dior 1, which is a rare collaboration between Nike and Dior, retail at a high price and are sold at an even higher price because the shoes are limited edition.

However, since the Air Jordan 1 was designed in 1985, there are reportedly only 8,500 pairs of the high-top sneakers in circulation. There have also been just 4,700 low-top versions of the sneakers made.
The Daily Mail reported that 5,000 of the total 13,000 pairs of the shoes were offered to top clients who received a personal invitation to buy. Those top clients included Kylie Jenner and Ashanti. When the remaining 8,000 pairs were made available for customers to register for the opportunity, five million people signed up in just nine hours.
Because of the limited number of the shoes available, the shoes have been put up on secondhand sites, where they are being sold with a huge markup. The Daily Mail also reports that the sneakers are sold for prices up to $13,000, with a size-15 pair being sold at $38,000 (at a markup of more than 1620 percent). Other prices these coveted shows are being sold for include $25,000, $24,512, and $23,000. The lowest price quoted was $10,089.
