'AGT' Season 19: Watch Joey & Jordan's unique rendition of 1994 dance hit that split the judges' panel
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Joey and Jordan, hailing from Wyoming and Los Angeles respectively, have been friends for six years. They showcased their bluegrass talents this week on Season 19 of 'America's Got Talent'. While the judges were divided in their votes, their performance failed to win over internet followers.
Following their traumatic breakups, the two found solace in performing bluegrass music together. During their Season 19 audition, they performed "Cotton Eyed Joe".

One of the vocalists climbed onto the other's shoulders to sing while playing an upright bass. Unfortunately, the vocals were less than stellar, and the poor guy struggled to get back down to the floor.
On X, one fan described the duo, saying, "I’d like to see that in the local bar, but not the big stage I’m afraid." Another added, "Some people SHOULDNT sing."

One fan wrote, "Okay, why are we singing Cotton-eye Joe? That's not for the talent show. More like a square dance." Another fan quipped, "New tag line for the show “it beats the local bar”."

Joey & Jordan get booted despite 'AGT' Season 19 judges' Yesses
Sofia Vergara appeared to smell something unpleasant, while Simon Cowell found it amusing. Simon highlighted that the best part of their performance was the climbing. Howie Mandel concurred. However, Sofia and Heidi Klum both voted no, resulting in the duo's elimination from the competition.
'AGT' Season 19 is structured into two parts, mirroring previous seasons: Auditions and Live Shows. To qualify for the Live Shows, an act must receive at least three 'Yes' votes from the judges following their performance to avoid elimination.
'Acts face elimination if they receive more than one red X vote. Alternatively, an act can advance directly to the Live Shows if they receive a Golden Buzzer from a judge. Joey & Jordan, having received only two votes, were eliminated directly from the audition round.
Who are Joey & Jordan in 'AGT' Season 19?
