PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Schumacher's Ryu Taro and Yuya Gomi stole the spotlight on the 'AGT' stage with their unique brand of comedy. The dynamic duo started their captivating performance by donning masks and transforming into various animals to entertain the audience. Their hilarious routine had everyone in stitches, showcasing their comedic talents with creativity and flair.

When asked to comment on their performance, judge Sofia Vergara expressed her confusion, saying, "What is it? Is it like a dance or a puppet or a tranformation quick changing. I don't know I'm like very confused cause like I thought it was ridiculous."

Sofia labeled Schumacher's animal mask illusion act as 'plain masochism.' "It's like a nonsense. I don't really know what it is but I really really think you deserve this," she added.

Not long after that, Sofia shocked everyone by hitting the Golden Buzzer for Ryu and Yuya, even though she had openly criticized their animal mask illusion act. Despite her initial reservations, Vergara was moved by the duo's performance and couldn't resist giving them the ultimate vote of confidence with the Golden Buzzer.

The audience erupted in cheers and applause as Ryu and Yuya celebrated their well-deserved moment. It was a truly unforgettable scene, demonstrating that sometimes even the harshest critics can be won over by raw talent and dedication.

Sofia explained that she chose to hit the Golden Buzzer because their act was the most entertaining and impressive performance the judges had seen throughout the entire week of auditions.
