'AGT' Season 19: Watch Heidi Klum buzz Daniel Simu and his robot as the amateur dancer fails to impress

According to Heidi Klum, 'AGT' Season 19 contestant Daniel Simu is still 'in the beginning stages' of his act

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Daniel Simu of the Netherlands performed on 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 with his home-built robot. Despite impressing most people, one of the judges seemed to disagree.

Heidi Klum pressed her red X buzzer as the couple began to dance on stage, despite Simon Cowell and Sofía Vergara appearing very entertained. She commented that the performance reminded her of home projects and expressed her belief that he is still in the early stages of developing his act.

Daniel, who hails from the Netherlands, performs with a personal robot that he built himself. Sofia Vergara expressed her enjoyment of the performance, while Simon Cowell found it hilarious.

Howie Mandel expressed his anticipation to see more and gave Daniel his approval. Alongside Sofia and Simon, he found the choreography "hilarious." With three "yes" votes, Daniel was able to proceed to the next stage of the competition.

Looks like Heidi isn't the only one who was left unimpressed after Daniel's act. Many viewers took to social media to express their dislike for the genre.

On Reddit, one fan wrote, "Robot did. Guy didn’t." Another added, "Heidi spitting facts."  On X, one user wrote, "Should be a comedy act … dumb looking robot." Another person chimed in, "Cute but weird. Not sure on this act yet."
