When it comes to magic acts on 'America's Got Talent', Canadian magician Shin Lim set the bar pretty high with his jaw-dropping tricks. So, when French magician Nicolas Ribs walked onto the stage, the judges and audience were treated to a performance that they had never seen before.

By the end of Nicolas' performance, the judges- Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum, and the audience were lost for words. Howie declared the act as straight-up wizardry, while Sofia and Simon were pleasantly surprised by how subtle and elegant his act was unlike most magic acts with in-your-face tricks. Watching Nicolas swiftly dabble between 2D and 3D magic as he narrated a story with animated graphics, fans were completely drawn in and felt that he not only deserved the four "ouis" that he received from the judges but also the golden buzzer.

A fan tweeted, "He did that magic act without a single word or explanation. No traditional patter. That’s not easy to do with an audience. Have to keep their attention solely on your actions. Takes professionalism & skill. That might just have been a “Vegas” act. @AGTAuditions #agt @agt." "The magic act was a good way to open up the show. #AGT," wrote a fan. Another fan declared, "I could watch that act over and over! Incredible! #AGT." "Holy crap! How did he do that? Incredible #AGT," commented an awestruck fan. "That’s not a magician on #AGT. That’s actually the wizard known as Neville Longbottom," joked an impressed fan.
