Disney is popular for all of its princess movies, be it the new Elsa and Anna from 'Frozen' or the classic, 'Cinderella.' However, in between was another live-action princess named Giselle from the movie, 'Enchanted' (2007). As we know this is the season of remakes and sequels, there is good news for you all. Disney's 'Enchanted' has a sequel coming up, 'Disenchanted' starring most of the original cast. 'Enchanted' focuses on an archetypal Disney princess-to-be exiled from her animated world into the live-action world of New York City, while 'Disenchanted' will be the continuation of the original plot with a new twist.

Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey ('Grey's Anatomy' alum), James Marsden, and Idina Menzel ('Frozen') reprise their roles from the first film, with Gabriella Baldacchino replacing Rachel Covey. They are joined by newcomers Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Oscar Nunez, and Griffin Newman. After the trailer was released fans could barely contain their excitement as they never expected a sequel for this movie. Although Kevin Lima helmed the first film, he has been replaced by Adam Shankman for the sequel.

The sequel, 'Disenchanted's plot follows Amy Adams' Giselle, her husband Robert, and stepdaughter Morgan 10 years after Giselle's happily ever after. They move from Manhattan to a new house in the suburb of Monroeville. The community is overseen by Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who has nefarious intentions for the family. When problems arise, Giselle uses a magic wand- a gift from a visiting Nancy and Edward- to wish that their lives were the perfect fairy tale. However, the spell backfires and everything goes out of control, with Giselle rushing to save her family and her homeland of Andalasia before the clock strikes midnight."

It is the least to say fans are extremely psyched to see how the film rolls out and have been unabashedly writing their thoughts on social media. A fan said, "Finally, a Disney sequel we would ACTUALLY LIKE," while another added, "Anyone who grew up watching all of the old Disney movies + tv shows is very excited about this sequel lol."

A fan said, "SO EXCITED YOU HAVE NO IDEA." One wrote, "Well its about time this movie got a Sequel it took this movie 16 years to finally get another movie," while another added, "This'll be either everything my inner child dreamt of, or a dumpster fire that taints the original . Will I watch it regardless? Yes."
