LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Finale Episode, titled 'Adieu', is set to premiere on Paramount+ with a Showtime plan on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Starring Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Fehinti Balogun, Leah Harvey, and Johnny Harris in pivotal roles, 'A Gentleman in Moscow' revolves around Count Alexander Rostov (Ewan McGregor), whose life takes a drastic turn after he is sentenced to house arrest at Metropol Hotel in Moscow.

After the current leader's death, Richard (Lucian Msamati), an American diplomat staying at the Metropol Hotel, approaches Rostov with a request to spy on the officials attending the meeting where they will discuss the selection of the next leader.

In exchange for his cooperation, Richard offers to take Sophia (Beau Gadsdon) to the United States for a fresh start, setting the stage for a potentially happy ending in the Finale Episode.

Let's speculate on what might occur in 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Finale Episode.

Sophia leaves Moscow for a new life in the United States

As Rostov completes his espionage task for Richard, he may fulfill his promise and take Sophia to the United States.

This moment could mark a turning point in Sophia's life, offering her a brighter future far from revolutionary Russia. Sophia has always yearned for freedom, especially the freedom to play the music she loves.

In the United States, she can have the opportunity to fulfill this dream. Unlike the restrictions and societal norms at Metropol Hotel, America offers a more liberal and diverse cultural landscape where Sophia can express herself through her music without fear.

Anna Urbanova and Alexander Rostov's love story may lead to marriage

In Episode 7, Anna Urbanova (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) took a significant step in her relationship with Rostov by confessing her love for him. This heartfelt confession marked a turning point in their relationship, setting the stage for a potentially happy ending for the two characters.

With the help of Richard, Anna and Rostov may find a way to escape the confines of the Metropol Hotel and pursue a life together outside of Russia.

The escape could be a daring and adventurous journey, fraught with risks and challenges, but ultimately leading to a happy and fulfilling future together.

Anna and Rostov may embark on a new chapter of their lives by starting afresh in the United States, potentially with Sophia by their side.

Alexander Rostov's escape plan could end in tragedy

As Rostov's escape plan unfolds, there is a looming threat that the authorities may uncover his intentions, putting his life in grave danger. If his plan is discovered, Rostov could face severe consequences, including imprisonment or even death.

In 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Episode 1, the authorities sentenced Rostov to confinement within the Metropol Hotel, accompanied by a stark warning: if he steps outside, he faces the risk of being shot dead.

In the Finale Episode of 'A Gentleman in Moscow', the threat that the authorities might shoot Rostov dead if he steps outside looms larger than ever.

With Rostov's death, Anna would be left without her partner, facing an uncertain future without the man she cares for deeply. Sophia, on the other hand, would lose a father figure and potentially be left without a guardian to protect and care for her.

Alexander Rostov may meet Mikhail 'Mishka' Fyodorovich Mindich

In Episode 7 of 'A Gentleman in Moscow,' Mikhail 'Mishka' Fyodorovich Mindich (Fehinti Balogun), Rostov's old friend, departs from the Metropol Hotel abruptly. However, prior to his departure, he leaves behind old photographs and a poem for Rostov.

There's a chance that Rostov might encounter his old friend once more in the Finale Episode. If this were to happen, it could lead to some impactful moments of reconciliation or closure between the two friends.

After enduring years of suffering in a prison camp, Mishka had lost his will to live. With Rostov's help, there is a possibility that Mishka may try to find joy in life again and return to his former cheerful self.

Together, Rostov and Mishka could potentially devise a plan to escape from the Metropol Hotel. If Rostov and Mishka were to reunite, it could provide an opportunity for Rostov to seek closure for any past hurts he may have caused Mishka during his time as an aristocrat.
