SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: An 11-year-old boy from California has won the heart of the Internet. Videos of his stirring performances of Broadway show tunes have spread like wildfire across social media platforms, and now this young boy is heading to see his first show with assistance from Delta Air Lines.

The young man's dedication paid off last week. The mother of the 11-year-old, Samantha Broxton, tweeted that Delta Air Lines had honored Nathan Broxton's talent for going viral by making him an offer of a lifetime. This was only possible after his viral video was hailed by theatre communities.

Who is Nathan Broxton?

A rising star named Nathan will soon command attention. When a video of an 11-year-old boy from California singing along to 'Naughty' from the most recent 'Matilda the Musical' movie went viral, Broadway and other places took notice. The video was first posted to TikTok by Samantha, his mother, and was first tweeted about by author Kendra James.

Another tweet from Ayanna Prescod later went viral after sharing the video, garnering responses from many prominent stage actors and theater community members. The boy's performance was noticed and hailed by actress and singer Bebe Neuwirth, as she commented in the clip and wrote, "fantastic."

Samantha then revealed yet another clip of Nathan fervently lip-syncing to Hamilton's 'Wait For It'. Soon after, Leslie Odom Jr, the real life Broadway Aaron Burr, replied to a tweet in connection with the clip, saying: "Young brother is far more committed than I even dreamt of being at his age. This is conviction! And I love to see it. On this trajectory, he'll eclipse me in no time."

Nathan was just beginning his important Broadway journey, when Samantha revealed on January 11 that Delta Air Lines had contacted them and offered to fly the young viral video sensation and the rest of the family to New York City so they could see his debut Broadway play. Samantha tweeted, "I am in shock. @Delta airlines is sending Nathan and the entire family to see his first Broadway musical in New York City!!!!!"

In response to the aforementioned tweet, Delta Air Lines wrote, "When you've made for the stage, there's no better place to see your dreams than NYC." Later, Samantha claimed that the specifics are still being worked out. However, it appears that Broadway is excited to host young Nathan and his family, as reported by People.

Playwright Jeremy O Harris suggested he would get Nathan tickets to any additional performances that he might want to see in response to Samantha's tweet announcing the trip. He wrote, "Which show??? I’ll get him tix to anything else he wants to see as well!" According to the news outlet, Brittney Johnson, a cast member of the popular musical 'Wicked', urged the family to attend the show and expressed her desire to meet them all.
