For couples in long-distance relationships, Covid-19 made their already challenging situation harder. But with restrictions finally being lifted and travel being allowed, the cast of Season 9 of '90 Day Fiance' wasted no time in finding their way back to their partners.

So far, most of the couples have managed to make the arduous journey across the globe and be with the person they love. However, it hasn't been smooth sailing for everyone since their arrival. And now, it looks like it's Yve and Mohamed's turn to be reunited and start their journey together finally.

Yve and Mohamed have had quite the whirlwind of a romance ever since he slid into her DMs after seeing her photo in a bikini. Despite their age gap and the fact that she was from the USA and he was from Egypt, he proposed to her during her first trip to Egypt. Now the pair are set to start the 90-day process and tie the knot.

While Yve's friends have expressed concern over her dating Mohamed seeing that they have many cultural and religious differences, Yve maintained that she would not change much on his account. However, she had already begun altering various aspects of her life, like her clothing and her consumption of alcohol. Even fans expressed concern over Mohamed getting along with Yve's son, who has autism down syndrome.

However, despite all the odds, the pair remains hopeful and ready to prove that they are made for each other. In the episode preview, Mohamed finally arrives in the USA, with Yve ready to greet him. They hug and kiss, seeing that they are excited to see each other. Mohamed also explained that the feeling was new to him, seeing that public displays of affection are frowned upon in Egypt. Even though he felt "weird", he acknowledged that this was his "first taste of freedom." He added that he felt like he was "born again" in that moment.

What do you think? Will Yve and Mohamed last? Will their many differences prove to be an issue later on? Or are they truly in love? Sound off below and tell us what you think!
