While Guillermo resides in the Dominican Republic, he is actually from Venezuela. However, when Venezuela was going through turmoil when he was younger, Guillermo began to go to protests and more. After a point, he realized he wanted more for himself and decided to go to the Dominican Republic, where his brothers were at. He eventually met Kara, and the pair were more than ready to start their lives together.

Fans were instantly a fan of Guillermo. "Guillermo looks 16. I’d have to see 3 forms of ID & 5 unrelated references before I believed he was of legal age #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. "Guillermo is so cute! I hope this couple is for real and he remains super sweet! #90DayFiance" added another. "A protester? With that face? Who isn’t afraid to be a little cheesy? We are forced to stan Guillermo  #90DayFiance" said a fan. "I think Kara and Guillermo are cute! They have actually lived together, too, so I have more faith in them. #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. "Kara and Guillermo actually seem like a legit couple who really, really like each other. #90DayFiance" said a fan. "A season of 90 Day Fiancé where the couples actually speak the same language?! #90DayFiance" noted another.

But, not all fans were team Guillermo and Kara, noting that Guillermo's young age might actually prove to be a cause for concern later on in the season. "Kara looks young and he still looks wayyyy younger than her. This is going to be a problem for her later. #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. "-I really get the vibe that she's going to mother this dude and she's going to try to rule over him." added another.

But for now, the bigger concern is if Guillermo will be able to travel to the USA on an expired Venezuela passport.

'90 Day Fiancé' Season 9 premieres on Sunday, April 17 at 8 pm ET/PT on TLC.
