'90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?': Andrei says Elizabeth's dad will pay for second wedding but she disagrees
Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth Potthast have had problems in their relationship for some time. Andrei has always felt that Elizabeth's family never welcomed him like he would have hoped for. Even after their marriage, her family thought Andrei was not the right fit for Elizabeth.
Despite this, he decided to keep their differences aside as Elizabeth revealed it is her father's birthday. The pair decided to go and have a nice time but Andrei seemed hesitant to be around Elizabeth's family who have made their dislike for him quite clear. As the pair attended the party, Elizabeth's family was quick to question Andrei about the work he had been doing and how things would work between them if he kept his wife happy.
This is when Andrei decided to break the news of a second wedding he was planning in his country. Andrei revealed he and Elizabeth would have a second wedding in his country in a matter of a month. Elizabeth was surprised to hear this and so was her family. While the pair had spoken about the second wedding, she never knew it was a concrete decision that was up and running. Elizabeth's family told Andrei it would be impossible for them to get up and leave everything for something that was planned a month from now. They expressed their disappointment of being given this information at the last moment.
Elizabeth was angry and upset as she had hoped for them to have a proper discussion before announcing it to the entire family. To make things worse, she was not happy that Andrei chose her father's birthday to break the news. As the two made their way back home, Andrei gave Elizabeth another shocking news as he revealed that her father would have to pay for the wedding. He tried to explain to Elizabeth that in his culture it was the father of the bride who paid for the wedding. At the same time, Andrei explained that Elizabeth's sister got the wedding of their dreams but their first wedding was paid by him. Andrei wanted Elizabeth to have the same treatment as his sisters and hoped her father would pay for the second wedding. While he seemed hopeful, Elizabeth questioned how successful this would be.
