'90 Day Fiancé': Fans call out Mahogany for fake apartment and lying about her age

While everything about Mahogany seems fake, fans didn't spare Ben either

When it comes to '90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days', it's not always smooth sailing for couples. In best-case scenario, they don't get along as well as they did online. Worst case scenario, everything about them turns out to be a lie. And it looks like Ben is learning that the hard way.

While it was shocking that Mahogany didn't turn out to be a catfish, nothing about her seems to be credible so far. Mahogany doesn't look like her photos, but neither did Ben. But it looks like the situation might be a little more complicated than filtered photos.

Mahogany kept insisting that her parents were the reason she couldn't be with Ben, as they disapproved of their relationship due to the age gap, among other things. Finally, Ben decided to meet her parents, to prove that his intentions were pure. But things didn't go according to plan. When he reached her apartment, Ben was confused that she had a place of her own, seeing that she lived with her parents previously mentioned. In addition, it was clear as day that the apartment was not hers, as there were no personal items at all. When Ben finally met her parents, the bigger shock followed -- Mahogany lied about her age -- she was not 24 like she mentioned, she was 22. This alarmed Ben, seeing that his own daughter was 22.

Fans were tired of the entire charade and called out Ben too. "That is not Mahogany’s apartment. My mom would have hugged me brushed past me to check my fridge, re-arrange my bed and started packing my laundry she does this for all her kids and we do the same for my nieces #90dayfiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days" tweeted a fan. "Ben's suspicious that a girl younger than his own daughter, someone who'd never met him, chose to invite him & a camera crew to an Air BnB instead of her own home? "Ben when he thinks she’s 24: This is amazing, I am in love! #90dayfiance Ben when he finds out she is 22: I have a daughter that’s 22" tweeted a fan. "Yes Ben, you thinking you should go back to the airport is the smartest thought you’ve had since the show began. Go home. #BeforeThe90Days #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. 

A few others who were willing to give the situation the benefit of the doubt also found the whole thing ridiculous. "Playing devil’s advocate, did Mahogany lie to Ben saying the AirBnB is her home as a way to protect herself in case Ben is some psycho? #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. "Can you imagine being mahogany’s parents when they realized they were going to a random Airbnb to meet an old guy? #90DayFiance" added another. "Mahogany’s fathers feelings on Ben being in love within 3 months of meeting his daughter online . Este gringo loco 😆🤣😂🤣😂😩💀#90dayfiancebeforethe90days #90DayFiance" noted a fan.
